lol. No, but good guess! Zara is a Persian name. I got it from Princess Zara Phillips and just thought it was pretty.
While Zara isn't short for anything, her full name is actually "HRH Zara Roya Lucky Baylor Purdue".
HRH: her royal highness. It's a bit of an in joke since my friends cat's name is Duchess. Roya is that friend's middle name (also Persian). Lucky because of the way I got her. Baylor (my friend's university and I liked the name) Purdue (my undergrad plus it can be pronounced purrrrdue.)
